Synthesis, spectral characterization and bioassay of some new Organophosphorus compounds

Abstract

A brief review has made on the synthesis of few organophosphorus heterocyclic compounds and phosphonates. In the first section, the synthesis of 2-aryloxy-6-bromo-3-(4-chlorophenyl)-3,4-dihydrobenzo[e][1,3,2] oxazaphosphinine2-oxidesis presented. The second section deals with the synthesis of benzoxazaphosphinine / benzoxazaphosphole / diazaphosphaphenalene 2-sulfides using Lawesson’s reagent (LR). In the third section describes the synthesis of cis-3-(n-arylamino)-2-phenyl-5-bromophenyl [1,3-d]-1,2-oxaphosphole 2-oxides. The fourth section comprises the synthesis of a-aminophosphonates. Finally the fifth section contains the synthesis of aryl / alkyl phosphonates via Michaelis-Arbuzov rearrangement.
