Maxwell Peprah Opoku is a Ghanaian who has two degrees in Political Science and Disability, Rehabilitation and Development from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He has worked as a Teaching and Research Assistant, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Centre of Disability Studies, Department of Community Health. His areas of specialty are disability, special education, community based rehabilitation, inclusive education, health research, management of natural resources, human rights, social policies and public policy

Nicole Huyser was born on the 11th of February, 1988 at Heemskerk, the Netherlands. She attended secondary education at Murmelliusgymnasium in Alkmaar. Followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Life sciences at VU University in Amsterdam. During which, she decided to pursue a Health Sciences Master’s degree with a specialization in International Public Health at VU University as well. After her Master’s degree, she did some volunteer work at a center for intellectually disabled people. Her area of expertise is health research, disability and development, community based rehabilitation, inclusive education, international public health and containment strategies of infectious diseases.

Amponteng Michael is a Ghanaian by birth who was born on 12th July, 1978 at Kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana. He started his early education at Asankrangwa and Sefwi Wiawso where he obtained Teachers Cert A in 2002. After teaching at the Basic school for a while, he pursued his first degree in Special education at University of Education, Winneba. Â After serving a year as Special Needs Education Coordinator and tutor at college of Education, his interest in disability influenced him to study Disability, Rehabilitation and Development for his second degree from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He was appointed as a Resource teacher providing support for pupils with special needs at Sekyere South District while pursuing his Master degree. He is currently working with Ghana Education Service as Special Educational Needs Resource Teacher. His area of specialty is disability education, management of pupils with special needs, human rights, social policies and public policy.
