Tharwah Alzoubi, Ph.D., LCSW, CRC, LCDC, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a doctoral degree in clinical rehabilitation counseling, a master’s in clinical social work, and a bachelor’s in nursing. Additionally, she is specialized in Drug and Chemical dependency.
Dr. Alzoubi is professionally trained in providing trauma-informed care for those suffering from Anxiety, Depression, Personality Disorder, PTSD/Trauma, and other disorders. She uses integrated therapies in a gentle, collaborative manner.
Dr. Alzoubi utilizes a multidimensional approach to therapy, exploring each individual's biological, psychological, social, and spiritual needs. She wants to assist her clients in healing from trauma, building self-worth, improving communication in their relationships, and reaching their goals. Her therapeutic approach is to evaluate each person within their environment and provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
Dr. Alzoubi believes in hands-on, experiential learning to know people and cultures. She is experienced in supporting women, individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Jordan, Syria, Palestine, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Morocco, Turkey, and more! Her areas of expertise include family of origin and relationship issues, stress management, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and personal growth.
Dr. Alzoubi continues to work hard to develop cultural competency for herself and the mental health community.
